Who we are.

As the name of our company implies, we are an Audio & Visual supplier. While supporting our clients with their meetings and events we strive to develop client relations as if we were infact ‘their AV department’. We also specialise in ‘conference interactives’. AV Department has two decades of experience in the interactives industry and can offer 1^st class technical support to any event as well as a wealth of experience. 

Our clients are in all industries and sectors including Government, Public Sector, Professional Bodies, Financial, Retail, Pharma’ & Medical, IT, Utilities, PR & Marketing, Media & Publishing, etc.. Other AV suppliers and production companies also use our services as a trade 'white label' service.

The majority of AV Department's clients are repeat or referal business in recognition of the quality and reliability of service.

Derek Welsh (Operations Director) Joined AV Department Ltd in 2006, 9 years experience in pro av, specialist is audience response, simultanious interpretation. Derek has a BSc in Music Technology with Electronics.

Mike Child (Sales Manager) Joined AV Department Ltd in 2008, 30 years experience in pro av, and is a specialist in broadcast sales. Mike's experience is gained internationally through Radio and TV sales in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. 

Paul Falconer (AV Technician) Joined AV Department Ltd in 2008, Paul has an HND in Audio Engineering from Perth College and runs his own recording studio 'eight-bit'  Paul has additional training in PAT testing and has the events 'safety passport' .

Brian Drummond (AV Technician) Joined AV Department Ltd in 2008, Brian has an HND in Music and Audio Technology from Adam Smith College. Brian has additional training in PAT testing and has the events 'safety passport' .
