Who we are.

Mark Kisby (Managing Director) Started AV Department Ltd in 2005, 19 years experience in pro av, specialist is audience response, simultaneous interpretation. Mark has a BSc in Industrial Design and Engineering.

Derek Welsh (Operations Director) Joined AV Department Ltd in 2006, 11 years experience in pro av, specialist is audience response, simultaneous interpretation. Derek has a BSc in Music Technology with Electronics.

Paul Falconer (AV Technician) First joined AV Department Ltd in 2008 and now works regularly with AVD on a freelance basis, Paul has an HND in Audio Engineering from Perth College. Paul has additional training in PAT testing and has the events ‘safety passport’. Paul is also trained in Emergency First Aid at Work from Burntisland First Aid Services Trust.

Brian Drummond First joined AV Department Ltd in 2008 and now works regularly with AVD on a freelance basis, Brian has an HND in Music and Audio Technology from Adam Smith College. Brian has additional training in PAT testing and has the events ‘safety passport’ . Brian is also trained in Emergency First Aid at Work from Burntisland First Aid Services Trust.
