“The AV, lighting, rigs, screens, projectors, plasmas, filming and everything else AVD provided was absolutely amazing; without this infrastructure and support the events put on would not have been as successful or as professional as they were and that is very much down to you and AVD so enormous thanks for that. With your support the Aberdour Festival over the past two years has grown in stature and professionalism…”

From a presenters perspective a podium teleprompter has the following advantages:-

  • Presenters can focus on the delivery rather than their memory.
  • Presenters can make eye contact while delivering the content to make a connection with the audience.
  • Presenters can stay on message with no ad libbing.
  • Presenters delivery can be paced and rehearsed allowing emphasis to the key points and ensuring an impactful delivery.
  • Presenters can keep to time within a rehearsed time slot, and keep to a script with out fear of having to ad lib to fill time or decide what to cut if over running.
  • Presenters don’t have to look down to read notes! This gives a more relaxed performance with better body language including hand movements to add emphasis.

From a technical perspective AVD’s Navigator Plus Conference Package has the following advantages:-

  • SDI and HDMI connections so large venues, and tucked away operating positions, are no issue.
  • High brightness of 1500 nits means that they’ll still be readable even outside in the sunshine.
  • All in the box solution packs together everything you need to bring prompting to a venue.  (Two monitors, two conference stands, a ShuttleXpress hand control and all interconnecting cables).
  • Near invisibility thanks to Autocue 70:30 beamsplitter glass. The audience do not see the text in the glass but the presenter gets a very clear image.
  • If using as part of our full service we will also supply an experienced operator with a PC with prompting software.
  • If hired as a dry hire your own operator will more than likely have their own preferred PC + software to ensure familiarity.

Ampetronic loop driver

Ampetronic loop driver

Loop Drivers are a great way to support the hard of hearing who wear a loop enabled hearing aid.

These discreet systems allow the user to enjoy supported audio with out having to declare themselves or mark themselves out by wearing an obvious receiver and headset.

Our budget friendly systems ensure compliance with legislation (The Equality Act 2010) which made it a legal requirement for events to make reasonable adjustments to ensure Deaf People can access the event. When planning your event, it’s vital to ensure you cover all bases to ensure it’s accessible to the widest possible audience.

Each loop driver comes with a 100m loop, on a reel, to put round the perimeter of the area to be covered. We also provide a loop tester receiver to ensure the loop is functioning as intended.

Loop drivers are just one of the technologies we can offer. When you have multiple spaces in close proximity then it maybe better to use Infrared or RF based systems with receiver headsets.
